Week 4: Bills vs. Jets

The game started off with the Bills winning the coin toss and choosing to kick it tot he Jets. Both teams were stopped on their first drives. The jets were able to put together a drive towards the end of the 1st quarter, putting them in the lead. The bills responded with an 80 yard touchdown by CJ Spiller to begin the 2nd quarter. That didn't scare the jets though, they immediately came out and Mark Sanchez threw a pass to B. Smith for an 83 yard touchdown. It also happened to be on 3rd and 19 so they were very lucky. CJ Spiller broke another run for a long TD, but had stepped out of bounds around the 30 and the play was overturned. The Bills then were only able to add on a FG before half which put them down by 4.

The Second half started with the Jets leading 14-10 and they were kicking off to the Bills. After the last drive the Bills were upset that they didn't get the TD to take the lead so knew they needed to put some puts up now or their run game would soon become non existant. CJ Spiller broke yet another run for a 68 yards but was unable to put in in for a touchdown. The Bills had to settle for 3 and were still down by 1 point. The jets responded with a drive that eventually ended in a TD pass to Dustin Keller. The Bills were down by 8 and knew only 1 td could tie the game, so what do they do? Im sure you guessed right, they put the ball in the hands of the one and only CJ Spiller who ran yet again a 50+ yard run for a TD. The Bills went for 2 points and converted luckly with Orton breaking a tackle and then running in for a TD. He looked like Teblow for a minute. The Jets couldnt convert and the Bills got a shot to take the lead. The capitalized on it and threw a 40 yard pass to Doucet for a TD. With the lead the Jets only went downhill throwing a total of 4 picks within the last 5 minutes. The Bills scored two more FG's to win the game 34-21

The Bills are 3-1 now, but how much longer will CJ Spiller be able to keep this up? How much longer will the defense be able to shine when needed the most? Coming off two division game wins the Bills are standing tall with confidence.
